Chania is located North-West of the island of Crete. It is the second largest city of the island and it is the capital of Chania regional unit. The total extend of prefecture is 2376 km² occupying the 28.5% of the island or 0,018% of Greece. The area is subdivided into 7 municipalities:

Poco Loco Hotel is located in a developing part of the old town, on the Minoos street.

The city center and the Chania Venetian Harbour is less than a 5 minute walk from our Hotel.

Chania’s Venetian Harbour was built in the 14th century for commercial purposes and for protection against pirate raids. Today it is a point of reference for the city of Chania, as locals and tourists alike, find the Old Harbour an amazing area to visit day or night!

The city hub is filled with cafes, restaurants and tavernas, serving local delicacies, as well as bars, pastry stores and art shops. Of course, you will also find monuments referring to various historical periods and museums to get better informed about the city and Crete in general.
